A Golfer's Paradise

The Okanagan Valley is truly a golfers’ paradise! It is home to over 40 golf courses, offering varying levels of challenge, ranging from par 3 and executive length courses to some of Canada’s top rated championship courses. Okanagan golfers benefit from the beautiful Okanagan weather, spectacular scenery and interesting golf course layouts.

The premier courses in the north and central Okanagan region include the spectacular Gallagher's Canyon featuring challenging golf and views of Gallaghers Canyon and the surrounding area. Predator Ridge, the site of the Skins Challenge, has received international attention. Near Kelowna Airport, Quail Ridge and its companion, The Bear, a recently built Jack Nicklaus designed course offer additional challenge. The Harvest, with beautiful views of Kelowna and Lake Okanagan is another course that most visitors want to play.

The south Okanagan region boasts well-tended fairways and greens carved out of the desert. Fairview Mountain Golf Club, and the Osoyoos Golf & Country Club are both challenging and offer the best weather in the Okanagan, as well as the longest playing season.

North of the Okanagan, in the Shuswap area, about 1 ½ hour’s drive north of Kelowna are the Salmon Arm Golf Club and Shuswap Lake Estates Golf & Country Club. Both of these offer additional challenge.
